Apache Corporation to Post Corporate Update and Alpine High Review on Website Today at 4:30 p.m. CT

HOUSTON, Oct. 9, 2017 – Apache Corporation (NYSE: APA) (Nasdaq: APA) announced that it will post a presentation with audio on its website, www.apachecorp.com, at 4:30 p.m. CT today to provide an update on the company’s operations and guidance following Hurricane Harvey and to inform investors on the latest progress at Alpine High, the company’s Delaware Basin discovery announced last year.

“We have made steady progress at Alpine High since revealing the discovery last year. When we disclosed Alpine High in September 2016, we had an estimated 2,000-3000 drilling locations. Today, we are increasing that estimate to at least 5,000 locations, consisting of 3,500+ locations in the “wet gas” window, 1,000+ locations in the dry gas window and 500+locations in the emerging Wolfcamp / Bone Springs oil play. Each of these plays is highly economic at current commodity prices on a fully burdened development case scenario”, said John J. Christmann IV, Apache’s chief executive officer and president.

The audio recording and presentation last approximately 70 minutes and will be available for downloaded at 4:30 p.m. CT at www.apachecorp.com.
